Friend of the Zbeba
(after Friend of the Devil by Grateful Dead)
Well, I lit out for Usenet, I was lookin' for some sounds.
I was havin' quite a time there till the zbebaf came around.
Well, I like cable modem, doesn’t take much time.
But a friend of a zbeba's no friend of mine.
If I get it downloaded before daylight I just might get some sleep to night
I went into the 60s with a poundin’ in my heart
And saw a song that caught my eye: 10,000 seven-line parts.
Well, I like cable modem, doesn’t take much time.
But a friend of a zbeba's no friend of mine.
If I get it downloaded before daylight I just might get some sleep to night
Well, I went into the 90s but the zbebaf flooded there,
When I double-clicked a song I liked, it had vanished in the air.
Well, I like cable modem, doesn’t take much time.
But a friend of a zbeba's no friend of mine.
If I get it downloaded before daylight I just might get some sleep to night
Well, there’s two reasons why I lie awake most every night
The first one’s name is MP3, and it’s my heart’s delight.
The second one’s a zbeba, baby, moron’s on my tail.
And if they left it up to me, I’d throw his ass in jail.
Well, I sent out for some clue musk, but the tanker came back dry.
They really just don’t give a damn, and I really wonder why.
