About

In My Not So Humble Opinion (IMNSHO) began in about 1999. IMNSHO served as an outlet for quite a number of years as the author played in the alt hierarchies (anarchists, luzers, and trolls) of Unenet. This is a distinct sub-culture that is not for the faint-of-heart. The author was a much-hated man for standing up to people like the Usenet Freedom Fighters (UFF), a group of wannabe terrorists and anarchists.

But those days are long gone. Some of the 30 or so parodies written by the author remain. You probably had to be there. I doubt these would make sense to 98% of the population, but I have kept the archives around for the 2%.

IMNSHO now explores political dialog (such as it is) from a libertarian point of view. The writing is intended to be assertive. If you are overly sensitive, you will probably consider it aggressive. But IMNSHO actually is intended (now) to find some small measure of truth beyond the rhetoric.

The “O” stands for “opinion”, folks. That is not a synonym for “fact”. I try to be fair and even-handed, but I don’t always try to be nice. This is my outlet. Deal with it. Or go read someone else’s blog.
